CLEVELAND Model Railway Club, which has many members from the Whitby area, is opening its doors to the public to allow people to ‘see how it’s done’.

An open day on Saturday 22 September is being held between 10am-4pm at the club’s new clubhouse, offering the opportunity for anyone to be a member for the day for £1. Visitors can view layouts at various stages of construction, see modelling demonstrations and talk to members. Refreshments, disabled access and free parking are available at the clubhouse in Unit 2, The B-Hive, Skelton Industrial Estate, Skelton. The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday, 6.30-9.30pm when visitors and new members are always welcome.
