Fame Academy singer to take centre stage at charity gig

FAME ACADEMY singer Alistair Griffin will be taking to the stage on Saturday night as he performs at a Christmas charity ball.

It is being held at the newly opened Raithwaite Hall at Sandsend and has been organised by Alistair’s sister Vicky in memory of her partner Chris Flintoft who died from cancer a few years ago.

Alistair will be performing with his band ‘The Brightside’ and the dancing will go on well into the night.

As well as a drinks reception and a four course festive meal there will be an auction on the night too with one of the top prizes being a money can’t buy experience.

The lucky bidder will be able to spend the day with Alistair, who hails from Castleton, in an executive box at the Riverside Stadium to watch his beloved Middlesbrough FC and enjoy a champagne reception regardless of the score.
