The National Trust kickstarts this year’s ‘50 things to do before you’re 11¾’ campaign at the Old Coastguard Station, Robin Hood’s Bay on Sunday.
Budding beach artists are invited to drop in at the centre between 10am and 3pm to turn strandline treasures into the perfect souvenir of a trip to the seaside. £3 each, booking not necessary.
Knowing it can sometimes be a struggle to get kids outdoors, the National Trust created its list of hands on activities, ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ ‘. Originally launched in 2012, it has been inspiring families to get mucky, discover their wild side and get closer to nature, bringing generations together for adventures in the fresh air.
