AS a follow up to my recent letter to the sports editor, I am pleased to see Whitby Town have got Harry Dunn to come back.
He will add much-needed authority and respect to the manager’s job and will work well with the squad of players that remain.

But it is now up to us supporters to back the club as we did in the good days.

We need to get back to the 400- plus gates to give the management a chance to compete with other teams in the Unibond League.

We now have a good manager and good chairman and one of the best grounds in the league.

So let’s get out in numbers when the new season starts and push for promotion.

John Waters, Hall Farm Road, Low Hawsker
