Household Waste Recyling Centres

Recycling Collection Services
From September 2007 all households will receive a kerbside recycling service for: paper, magazines, junk mail, phone directories, card, cardboard, plastic bottles, food cans, drink cans and aerosols and will be part of the Scarborough Borough Council garden waste service.
One week recyclables will be collected, including garden waste and the following week the unrecyclable waste will be collected. If you have any recycling questions then please contact Customer First on (01723) 232323.
Scarborough Borough Council operate over 60 mini recycling centres for glass and textiles throughout the borough, you can also take batteries to your nearest Customer First Office to be recycled.
