WHITBY man Daniel Schneider was killed in a head-on collision while driving to work on 20 December.
He had a passion for people, music, dancing and new experiences as well as a love for motorbikes, fishing and art.
Although originally from West Berlin, he moved to Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire three years ago.
He used to come to the Whitby Gothic Weekend and met partner Leisha, who owns Gutsy Gingers in Brunswick Street, at last October's event.
She said: "He came to the counter and I said 'that will be £3 please and you're gorgeous'. He said 'ditto' and we have been together ever since.
"It was definitely love at first sight and he was my sole mate. Daniel was covered in tattoos, had dreadlocks and piercings, but that was just the outside. He was the most beautiful person I have ever met.
"He loved Whitby and his heart was here. I cannot believe he has gone. I am heartbroken."
