THE annual Mike (Sack) Parkin quiz took place on 19 February and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who donated prizes or bought raffle tickets for the event.
Special thanks to Barbara and Jackie for all their help and to John and Will for the quiz, also to John for the lovely buffet, 937 was raised on the event which we have made up to 1,000.
The money will be split between Help for Heroes and the Heather Unit, Whitby Hospital.
