Please give us back our town
I write in reference to Janet Whiting's response to Richard Harland on the 19 May.
I feel as though she let out a personal attack on Mr Harland, due to the fact he mentioned Scarborough Rugby Club.
It was not taken into account by Mrs Whiting the actual point of Richard’s letter about the town being a shambles under the rule of Scarborough Borough Council.
Maybe if Scarborough Borough Council was less secretive about the way it spends money, Mr Harland would not have made this slight error about Scarborough Rugby Club.
So what if her brother is a member of the fund-raising committee of Scarborough Rugby Club?
My brother is a pilot for British Airways but it doesn’t mean I know all the inside secrets and facts on that company does it?
I tend to agree with Richard Harland – it’s about time the town cut all ties with the Algerinos.
Give us back our town.
