Sunny days in tearooms
SUNNY days out in the country used to attract hundreds of visitors to the Orchard Tearooms in Egton Bridge back in the 1950s.
Shirley Thurlow of Great Ayton, who brought the picture in to the Whitby Gazette offices, said the tearooms used to be a hive of activity.
"Busloads of people used to arrive on Sunday afternoons," she said.
