Had a laugh at store vote

I WASN'T sure whether to laugh or cry when I read of the councillors' reaction to your reports and our letters in the Whitby Gazette relating to the Sainsbury's saga.

I believe, to preserve my sanity, I opted for the first.

I’m sorry councillors, however much you moan and bleat your decisions were taken by self-interest.

I think most people would have had more respect had you all have admitted this in the first place.

This of course is the type of person supposed to represent us.

Barry Foster, High Stakesby, Whitby
